Spread Awareness
Being aware of orphans takes more than just knowing they have lost their parents and live in an orphanage. ‘Being aware’ should allow us to open our hearts, pause whatever we are doing in our lives, and listen to their story just to show them some attention.
These children have been lost and abandoned by the people that they love, and they will always crave for someone’s love and attention. They don’t have anyone to lean on, or people to wipe their tears away when they cry; they’ve been left with nothing. That’s why we need to spread awareness to people and help these vulnerable children receive the love and support they have never experienced from their loved ones.
If you cannot donate, you can volunteer to spend time to get to know these children and develop a parent-child-like relationship with them. These children truly appreciate the little things we do for them. Let’s act as a parent or as an older sibling to these vulnerable children and let them cry out their problems to us. Let’s wipe away their tears and help them rise to their feet and give support for them to live a better life.
Always smile back at children. To ignore them means destroying their belief that the world is good.
Let’s give hope to these children and make the world a better place to live!
