We are living proof that history is not just about where you begin, but how you rise from where you are placed.
Though we may not have a home to return to, we carry the legacy of those who came before us. We remember the kindness of strangers who helped us, the lessons from those who left us, and the resilience we have built along the way. History matters because it reminds the world that every life, even one without a family name, is significant. We are not forgotten. We are part of a greater story, one that proves strength is not only inherited—it is created.
