Distributed Educational Needs
Education is one of our core values here at Rizing Starz. We believe that we can change a child’s live through education. The great Nelson Mandela said “Education is the greatest engine of personal development. It is through education that the daughter of a peasant can become a doctor, the son of a mine worker can become the head of the mine, and the son of a farm worker can become the president of a great nation. “This school year, Rizing Starz has undertaken the mission of sponsoring 5 well deserving children of Ghana West Africa with partial scholarships to further their education. Although tuition is free for students entering basic to high school, there are additional fees that becomes difficult and often impossible to pay.
This hardship often result in non-attending of school. In the rural areas of Ghana, children as young as 10 years old have to work and pay their own fees in order to attend school. The scholarship covers admission, feeding, uniforms, and school supplies. Here at Rizing Starz , we are truly excited to have this opportunity to invest in the lives of these children who have great dreams and aspirations.
They too believe that education is a major tool for upward mobility.
