Back to School

Schools have resumed in Ghana, after two years of uncertainty and hardship, due to the pandemic. Children have returned to school to experience a new normal in a changed country and a different world at large. New policies and procedures seems to be the norm of the day. The ministry of education is working diligently to establish stability and sustainability for the children of Ghana in this changing world . systems and structures that worked prior to the pandemic appears to be archaic in this post pandemic world.

The children of Ghana like other children across the globe, are also coping with the aftermath of the pandemic. The loss of skills, lack of funding, health safety , inflation and inadequate resources are some of the issues that schools are grappling with, as they strive to educate children. The question then becomes , how can we provide support to these children in a broken system and provide them with
and a sense of normalcy again.

Rizing Starz has undertaken the mission of sponsoring 6 well deserving children of Ghana West Africa with partial scholarships to further their education. Although tuition is free for students entering basic to high school, there are additional fees that becomes difficult and often impossible to pay.

This hardship often result in non-attending of school. In the rural areas of Ghana, children as young as 10 years old have to work and pay their own fees in order to attend school. The scholarship covers admission, feeding, uniforms, and school supplies.

Here at Rizing Starz , we are truly excited to be apart of the solution , as we.
invest in the lives of these children who have great dreams and aspirations.
They too believe that education is a major tool for upward mobility.

Thanks to our donors who have made this possible.
